My first attempt at hydroponics.
I am a trial and error kind of guy, so I made a lot of mistakes and learned from them.
But I am having a lot of fun. I enjoy just sitting in new garden room and anticipate the bountiful harvest I hope to have. I know there will be rough patches as I learn this new hobby, but I am looking forward to the challenges and rewards.
The light is a 400 watt metal halide currently about 2 feet above the plantings. I had a fender eliminator that I had made for my Ninja that didn’t quite work out, so I used it as the mounting to the light. It is sturdy gauge metal. And to this I screwed a duct work piece that I saw at Lowe’s one day. I think it is effective enough for now and the price couldn’t be beat.
I am also working on an idea of changing the buckets to an ebb/flow system, my drip irrigation is also troublesome as the lines are clogging and the plants aren’t getting fed.
Still having fun tho.
An outdoor organic garden located in Lebanon, Oregon, United States, Peizo's 2008 Hydroponic garden currently contains 6 plants.
This is a Hydroponic garden that is known to be in USDA Hardiness Zone 5. It has mainly None soil and receives Indoor light.Photos
