I had a succulent garden when we lived in Kingsburg and really missed it when we moved. I finally got a chance to make another one here in Fresno. We planted the nopal cactus under the bottle brush trees when we first moved here in May. It’s been all by itself until now. Since then, I’ve added the Aeonium that was planted over at the brick wall, some hens and chicks (both the cobweb and red kind), the Mother of Thousands, a green rosette type of succulent, the dragons blood, the firesticks and another one I can’t remember the name of. I plan to add more in the future, but I figure I have enough there now to consider it a separate garden. =)
