The colour of the flower was ivory white and the scent was heady but not sickly strong.
The evening that the flower bloomed was very hot and uncomfortable, which was fortunate in a way as I was able to periodically get up out of bed and photograph the flower. If a good nights sleep was possible, ...

I was told that the flower only opens once, and they were right.
The morning after the spent bloom was definitely droopy.

Yay, a flower bud. I didn’t notice it before now as we had a scaffold up against the house on that side.
It’s huge, about the size of my hand.
