This is a raised garden bed 5’X10’. It is the deepest of 3 raised beds measuring at about 14" deep. I am following the guidelines from the book “Square Foot Gardening” by Mel Bartholomew. The raised bed was constructed from stacked 2X8’s with 2×2 reinforcement stakes hammered into the ground. All wood is non-pressure treated. The raised bed was constructed in the Spring of 2010.
