A walled garden in North London, with a big pond (where I grow watercress among the fishes) and various beds and patios and decks. North facing, but sheltered and warm because of the brick walls. Once very ‘ground force’ with architectural plants and that sort of thing, but I got bored with the low maintenance planting and ripped it all out to grow veg and flowers.

Before I took these drastic measures, it looked like the photo. Now the plants on the left have gone, to be replaced with flower and vegetable growing space. Oh and the cute yellow garden furniture fell apart, so that has gone too. And we added a chiminea on the patio – one day we hope to bake pizza in it. The bit on the right looks more or less the same.
