in this flower bed i have red peonys that were here when we bought our farm 30 years ago. There was not a bed here but i made one around the peonys that were just growing in the lawn. Since then i have added fern peonys, hosta, lady’s mantle, iris, some tulips red and yellow and a few pink and white ones, lupin, a opium popy, and there is a grass in the centre beside the bird bath, there is also another plant that i dont know what it is yet, maybe when it blooms i will know. today i put wood chips on as a mulch.

You have a beautiful garden! I saw some things in your garden that I did not know grew in the northern climates. I may have to try some of them! Thanks for adding me as your gardening buddy! Was it because of the echinacea?
