In an attempt to ward off the winter blues, I decided to try growing some microgreens this year after reading about it in an issue of Urban Farm magazine. everything I’ve read about it said it is so easy so I collected a bunch of plastic containers from the grocery store used for salad greens, drilled some holes in the bottom and chose some seeds that were starting to get a little old. It’s certainly nice to have a little edible green in the house.

An indoor organic garden located in Edmonton, Canada, urbangardener's Winter Microgreen garden currently contains 2 plants.

This is a Indoor garden that is known to be in USDA Hardiness Zone 3a. It has mainly Potting Mix soil and receives Indoor light.
