This garden will be a kitchen/community garden in raised beds. We will be building as many beds up to 8 as we can get done before it is time to plant. These beds will be a shared effort by a couple of neighbors and anyone else who may want to participate. All “extra” foods will be donated to a local mens shelter and another family based shelter in our town.
It is also a test garden (as is all the gardens this year).
In addition, this particular garden will be taking up some of the massive areas of lawn that was here when we bought the place.
