Used to be called the Herb Garden and, though it still has common thyme, a couple of parsley varieties and some garlic chives in it, there is now more of other types of plants growing there.
Sept 12, 2011: Gardens alter, evolve, change their character over a period of time. Though this one still has several herbs in it, I have found with our life style that it is now used more as an adjunct.to our vegetable garden.
I came to the momentous decision to change its title when I was planting some shallot seeds there yesterday. I hummed and haa-d over its description of type of garden and decided to change it to “kitchen” due to its proximity to that place and because it is all kitchen produce that is grown there. It has also been re-titled The “Workshop Garden” as it is located right outside my workshop. Must remember to change all other references over to the new one.
Next-door neighbour had the eucalypt tree that towered above this garden taken out during last autumn so now garden in full sunlight up until late afternoon. Be interesting to see how the garden changes.
Located in Castlemaine 3450, Australia, Prickles's Workshop garden is an outdoor organic garden that currently contains 10 plants.
This is a Kitchen garden that is known to be in USDA Hardiness Zone 9b. It has mainly Combination soil and receives Full Sun light.Plantings
