The front of our house faces south, so there is a lot of shade there, and even more so for the verandah. The edges get a bit of morning or afternoon sun, especially in summer, so i’m planning to grow some things there that need partial sun, and it should be a relatively protected position as well, which will be good for some plants. I’ll probably put some shade loving plants in the centre section where there will be no direct sunlight, and i’ll probably hang some baskets from the railing as well as the upright supports. Obviously, everything in this “garden” will be in a pot of some description.
Located in Newcastle, Australia, Getafix's Front Verandah garden is an outdoor garden that currently contains 4 plants.
This is a Balcony garden that is known to be in USDA Hardiness Zone 10. It has mainly Potting Mix soil and receives Dappled Sun light.Plantings
