    Thanks! I find tracking progress is so much easier with Folia, I’ve never been great at keeping a paper gardening journal but Folia makes fun. All the heat-loving plants, especially toms, are doing really well … the peas not so much. It just was not a good cool-growing season for us this year, we went from frigid to too hot.

Unfortunately, we can not have a “kitchen garden” because our very large dog lives in that part of the yard, and would reak havoc of it! I like it very much! Most of my decorative stuff, if I find any cheaply will be done out front, away from mister curious!

    Seriously! You’ve inspired me to look at my yard in a whole new light and possibly plan out something much more creative and good looking than the standard SFG set up. If my husband gives his blessing my two SFG boxes would go to the children so they could each have a garden.

    @ Minivanninja … I really like the spiral cages and am using them again this year. I’ll put them on as soon as the WOWs are removed.

    Some people complain about them falling over too, but mine held up really well. I used the longest, thickest plastic coated metal stakes I could get and put them in the ground very deep (at least 18"). I did tie the tomatoes to the stakes in a couple places, but the cage was great for helping to support the large fruit. Last year I had one that started to tip from the weight but I was able to just pound it in the ground a bit more and it was fine.
