Cmagnus's Backyard garden

The backyard is much like the frontyard, only in the back. So far it’s mostly grass, with a big compost pile smack dab in the middle—-not the best garden design, but the most expedient, since there was a big patch with no grass this spring, and we needed to stick compost somewhere. In some ideal long term, we should probably move the compost towards some side area. But, that will require figuring out what to do with the rest of the garden. All we know is we need more garden and less lawn, since weeding can be relaxing but mowing is a pain in the ass.
