Hi Flowerlady – Are you familiar with BBC’s Gardener’s World? They’ve got lots of info on starting plants from other plants. Carol Klein, who is currently hosting the show, is particularly keen on ‘not buying your garden’, but instead propagating and collection seed. Their website has lots of interesting info. This week under ‘what to do now’ has a lot of tips on taking cuttings (just scroll down and look for ‘taking cuttings’, there are a few entries on it)
