Cacti truly are ideal for any procrastinator, such as myself. They are very forgiving to forgetfulness and can often go very long periods without water – even in the scorching heat of summer. This is not to say that they can go forever without it but typically once a month during the growing season is just right. In addition to their ease of care, some can produce the most spectacular flowers in the flora world.
