LindaMae's Herb garden

Garden Type: Herb | Sun: Partial Sun | Soil: Don't Know

I have had some herbs before in odd pots at the end of the garden, but this is a bit more of a concerted effort

I am trying to keep these all inside and I’m not at all sure it’s going to work. Maybe not enough light. Partly I’m doing this because my garden outside is full of the meanest slugs and snails in the world, and partly because some of these aren’t hardy enough to cope with cold nights.

I have already used some of them and that’s part of the impetus, I want to be able to cook with what I grow or use it in salads. This is to be a learning experience and if they don’t survive inside I’ll have to adjust what I do.

It looks great! I’ve always wanted to attempt to grow something in a pot like that (where did you get it, by the way?)…herbs are a wonderful idea :)

Thanks for your appreciation – got the pot somewhere really ordinary like B&Q as I recall. I’m already thinking that actually I need a summer pot and a winter pot so that compatible herbs are in together – will plan differently next year!
