The intent to start this garden is to educate other co-workers about healthy options for lunch and to learn about growing, care and harvest. The “if I build it, they will come” philosophy. So far, with 17 participants thus far it has had a great start in the short time since the first transplant – which was a little late – May 27th. Especially since we had such a great spring.
This garden has a little bit of everything. Tomato, pepper, zucchini, pumpkin, squash, swiss chard, spinach, lettuce, basil, cilantro, dill, oregano, thyme, rosemary, sage, tarragon, carrots, stevia, sunflower, cucumber, cumin, morning glory, moonflower, eggplant, potato, onion, chamomile, calendula, marigolds, lemon balm, grape tomato… I think that’s it for today.
An outdoor organic garden located in Ithaca, United States, Fhaith's Spencer Road Wellness garden currently contains 1 plants.
This is a Raised Bed garden that is known to be in USDA Hardiness Zone 5a. It has mainly Combination soil and receives Full Sun light.Photos

Beautiful garden! It’s great that so many people you work with are into the concept. I am sure it has inspired some to start gardens at home too.
The “build it (well, grow it) and they will come” is the philosophy I have regarding attracting beneficial insects to the garden!

It was a great garden. We got nearly 100 pounds of zucchini out of the two plants. That’s without amending.
It will be even better next summer. :)
