This bed was added in 2007. It’s just a long, 2.5′ × 25′ strip along the west side of the second garage. The idea was to separate my cut flowers into hot colors and cool colors, with the hot colors going into this new bed. Later it became a dahlia bed, but dahlias didn’t perform well (not enough sunlight). For the time being, I’m using it for sweet peas, which do well in part shade and screen the ugly paint on the structure behind it.
