This is a fave, because I love using herbs and I like drinking beer. Never thought about growing hops but you’ve gave me an idea.

Hi Whitelillies! I only just saw your comment on my Beer Garden page. Thanks for stopping by. Last year was my first for hops, I really loved growing them. I am hoping they come back stronger and more vigorous this year. We are growing them on ropes right up the side of the house. The ropes are secured to the eaves with grommets or rings or something my husband stuck up there. This year I will add a lateral support as they do spread out up at the top. I sourced my hop rhizomes at The Thyme Garden, I have nothing but good to say about their customer service.
We don’t brew beer but have a close friend who does, so we are growing for him in trade for beer. Can’t beat that deal!

My beer garden isn’t doing to well. I planted like 10 bottles but none of them have sprouted yet. :( My pepperoni tree, on the other hand, is doing really well!!! ;)

Oooh. I would like a pepperoni tree! Is that rare seed or can I find it at the grocery store?
