My first year here living inland. Always lived around the coasts further south but now I’m trying out this place. The hardiness for this region is probably 3 (I’m used to 1) but stating what zone it is according to the US-standard is impossible so I’ve excluded that information.
This is the biggest windowsill garden I’ve ever had and the space is getting scarce. Especially since I’ll be starting to grow more flowers for another garden that is an even bigger project.
How on earth I’m gonna fit all this on my balcony is a good question. Obviously all isn’t going out there. Two of them I’m growing so that they will hinder the neighbors from peering in and at the same time provide us with lovely smells and colors. I’m also planning on letting the Sunflowers and Everlastings cover the one free brick wall. As for the rest they will be planted into boxes and hung on the balcony edges. Will be a mighty colorful and crowded balcony this year =o)
