2 foot square potato frame, each section 5 1/2 inches high. Bottom segment has a floor to allow free drainage on my paved patio. 8 segments add up to 44 inches. I am sprouting several colors of potatoes (yellow, red, purple) in the bottom section (now arranged on top of the stack) and when the sprouts are well established I will move the bottom to the lowest level, add a frame, and cover the sprouts. As the plants grow I will add frames and soil, hopefully reaching 8 sections well before the end of the season. My sources say that up to 70 pounds of potatoes can be harvested this way. We’ll see how well I do.
Containing 0 plants, halhurst's Potato Planter garden is an outdoor garden located in SoCal, United States.
