Patio view towards wooden fence. Golden bamboo, Argentinian fuchsia, heliotrope and camellia the featured plants here. “Traveling mojito bar” on wheels to serve up drinks for guests. Beegee the cat on the chaise. The camellia surprised me and bloomed early this year. One 20 watt floodlight provides the illumination for this evening view.

Thanks Iechris for your suggestion. It does not seem to be the same variety you suggest, but I did find a Romance hydrangea available at Thompson & Hunter; very cool looking, unique, beautiful; would like to find some of these here in the states. Nice gardening blog you have btw.
