My rose garden existed when we purchased our house in 1989. It consisted of 12 hybrid tea roses, all still with their tags showing that they were Jackson and Perkins Test Garden roses. Since then, I have expanded it to include my favorite fragrant miniatures, some old garden roses and a climber for the light pole in the corner. The roses are all very happy, they are planted above the septic tank! No added fertilizer needed!
