This is the small garden in front of our house – about 21′ × 7′. When we bought the house it contained a lilac bush, some sporadic tulips and 2 giant rows of hastas. It gets partial sun depending on the canopy from the large trees in our parkway.

Welcome to folia!! I hope that you are enjoying the community! I love the lilac bush! I am planning to try to grow a few from seed next year. I know it will be a few years before it blooms, but I am excited non the less!!
I went and visited your Picasa site. What a cute little house!! I really love looking at the old houses in the historical district. How well does it handle winter?
If you have any questions about folia or gardening, you can post them in the Help group.
Happy Gardening!!
