This started out as a herb garden, but it was so convenient to the back door and kitchen that it eventually contained a few smaller vegetables as well.
The ducks, however, found it quite tasty to snack upon too. All plants have been devoured.
The growth of the shade trees at the back, which now overhang this garden, have caused the grass to stop growing and has left a thick leaf litter in its place. As I feed the ducks close to the back door for convenience at times, they have also devoured what grass was left in this area.
Rethinking the kitchen garden once again.
An outdoor organic garden located in Bambaroo, Australia, Carol's [17b] Kitchen garden currently contains 4 plants.
This is a Kitchen garden that is known to be in USDA Hardiness Zone 11. It has mainly Clay soil and receives Partial Sun light.Photos
