monikariney's Wildermirth garden

Garden Type: Vegetable | Sun: Full Sun | Soil: Combination I'm Organic!

I bought a tumbledown New England cape on 2+ acres in 2006. It was built in the late 1700s and I don’t believe much maintanence has taken place since 1940. I am slowly, slowly resoring and reclaiming the house and land. I keep chickens and fiber goats, two beehives, and tend a 40′×80′ plot of vegetables.

I’m also working on a large perenniel flower bed, an herb garden and a few fruit trees.

Welcome to folia!! I would love to see some pics of the house and garden!! We tilled up a 50 × 80 plot last year. I thought it was too big, and didn’t get the whole thing planted, but now I know what I am capable of, and I have learned a lot from other folians, so next year will be an even better year for us!!

I see that you do not live very far from the coast. I bet you get to eat a lot of sea food!! Yum!!

    Happy Gardening!!
