AspenShadow's Upper Backyard garden

Garden Type: Backyard | Sun: Full Shade | Soil: Don't Know

The upper level of the backyard has some grass in the front and flows into a wooded area. My plan for this area is to have a modest trail through the woods. I have outlined the trail with rocks found on the property and a few leftover from the landscaping we did in 2007. This area also houses my tool shed.

I expect the largest problem I will have in this part of the yard is getting rid of the kudzu and other ‘volunteer’ plants. This part of the yard was left wild until 2007. I have been pulling, digging, and cutting it out of the garden since the summer of 2007. Progress has been slow but I’m beginning to see success in some areas.
