GeorgeSr's 45 x 96 Raised Bed #2 flower garden

Garden Type: Raised Bed | Sun: Don't Know | Soil: Combination

Bed 2 is visible behind me in this photo.
This is going to be the middle bed in the front garden. I filled it with composted manure, vermiculite and some really black dirt from an old compost pile.
Maybe, next spring we’ll plant the gladiolus, (4 bulbs per square foot) in this bed?
Each 45 × 96 bed is 30 square feet. So, to fill a bed, I’ll need 120 gladiolus bulbs.
Which just happens to be the same quantity we will be digging up to store for the winter. This year we had four ten foot rows in a 8 × 10 foot ( 80 sq ft.) section of the front garden. We can plant the same quantity in a 30 sq ft raised bed. Interesting. But, that’s not including the three foot path between beds.
