grdn's Frontyard garden

Garden Type: Frontyard | Sun: Partial Sun | Soil: Combination

We have two massive Red Maple Trees in the front yard. They provide much needed privacy and dapled shade to the other plants. We recently added three Dwarf Burning Bushes, Euonymus and Hosta for contrast, and a Magnolia – Royal Star.
These are nestled amongst a Lilac, Coral Bells, Rhodies and Daylilies.
Not much room for anything else, although next year I would like to put in a PeeGee Hydrangea that is still in it’s pot and will be over wintered indoors…I hope!
Off to the side we have more Hydrangea, a Smoke Bush, Spirea, Geum and Daylilies. Most of these are new this year as well.
We spent a lot of time researching to get things right. Can’t wait for next year and the years to come and watch it all grow in!
