We’ve owned our house for three years and have been gardening for two. These first two years, I used straw bale gardening as a way of getting started, branching out into amending and planting in soil slowly. Next year we will plant everything in soil (except perhaps tomatoes, which do so well in straw bales).

We aim for variety more than quantity, so our list of edible plants is long and getting longer!

Containing 46 plants, Renoir_girl's Food garden is an outdoor garden located in Columbus, United States and is grown using organic principles.

This Kitchen garden is located in USDA Zone 6a and has Clay soil with a Full Sun outlook.
