This might have been a day 5 sprout, but it was so microscopic I’m not counting it. So a 6 day sprouting. Must be yummy spinach. Some little bugaboo has already had a nibble.

16 Aug 2008Saved some sweet basil seed 2 Wen's Square Foot Garden gardenWhen I harvested basil this week for pesto a couple of the flowers had made seeds which had already darkened up. They aren’t letting go yet, but I put those flowers up to dry for some seed next year. The basil was very hearty and healthy and I’d bought the plant… hopefully IR...Sunny 19°C / 66°F
