I was born and raised in the Seattle area, and except for 15 months in 2004 and 2005 when I lived in Portland, OR, while attending school there, I have lived here all my life. I’m back in school again, a full-time student, finally working on my BA.

My first degree was in Culinary Arts, and I have been a natural perfumery enthusiast for a long time, so I grow very little that isn’t either edible or fragrant. I also have a lot of grand ideas about saving the world via sustainable urban agriculture. Eventually I hope to own a piece of land within the city limits and raise chickens and dairy goats (both legal here!), but in the meantime I rent and tend containers and a plot in the city’s oldest community garden. I live in a duplex in Wedgwood with my boyfriend and an unnamed red betta.
