I love to garden! Especially with herbs (culinary, medicinal, dye). I am lucky to have a big place now that my MIL has been gardening in for the last 30 yrs. We are all in it together now. Some dedicated culinary herb beds, veggie patches, flowers (edible and those just for beauty) orchard and lots of areas that are a mix of all.
I am a chef by trade, but a knitter, spinner and dyer as well.
We keep some chickens around for eggs and orchard management, bunnies for fluff and compost poo, quail and pheasant around for the heck of it.
