We have some carrots Carrots Harvesting and T & M Herbs garden
I picked a couple of carrots, today. They aren’t that big, due to my planting them in an old fountain tub, but they will do. The greens are so tall and some of them needed to be pulled. Hope they are good.

First fruitings. Yay! Yellow Squash Harvesting and Missy and Tripp Season 2008 garden
We were able to harvest a few squash from the plants this weekend. They are doing great with no problems and the fruitings look great. I can’t wait to cook them this week.

Berries are turning. Blackberry 'Thornless Ouachita' Fruiting and T/M Berries garden
The blackberry plant has had berries on it for a while, but they are beginning to turn. The plant is still really small and we won’t get a large harvest this season, but next year should be good. The berries are so cute, though. I’m surprised the birds haven’t found them, yet.

Baby Bell Pepper Golden Bell Pepper 1 Fruiting and Missy and Tripp Season 2008 garden
We have a baby bell pepper on our golden bell plant that is growing every day. We use so many bell peppers that I cannot wait until we have a few to harvest. These will eventually be yellow and will be so good in Tripp’s Thai curry he makes.

The Beefsteak tomatoes are fruiting and I am so proud. I have never started tomatoes from seed before and I guess my babying paid off. The plants are HUGE. I really need to prune them so we have some big fruits, but I’m going to have to find the time. I love baby vegetables and fruit. I gue...

We have squash blossoms! Yellow Squash Fruiting and Missy and Tripp Season 2008 garden
So, the yellow squash is going crazy in our garden. I have a feeling I am going to be canning a ton, soon. There are so many blooms on each plant that I don’t know if we are going to be able to keep up with the harvesting. The blooms are gorgeous and they haven’t even opened, yet. I s...

Trellised Pole Beans and Missy and Tripp Season 2008 garden
I built a small trellis for the pole beans the other day. I used some old limbs from a plant Tripp trimmed in early spring. The beans are finally having a growth spurt and they are beginning to find the trellis. It’s strange how they reach and latch on.

Reaching for the sky! Soybeans and Missy and Tripp Season 2008 garden
The soybeans are getting bigger and I cannot wait until I can have some edamame pods for lunch. They seem to be doing great and I have a feeling we will be freezing some pods for winter.
