sundew

I am a community college student in Washington. I’ve recently decided to major in horticulture. About a year ago I discovered how much I love plants and have been growing and taking care of an assortment of them ever since. I am really interested in carnivorous plants and have an assortment of sundews, pitcher plants, and several other wonderful little green hunters. I am quite fond of all things that photosynthesize, however, and i also have a variety of orchids and other such things as well. I really love flowers. Many of my little friends are rescue missions that i dug out of dumpsters, found in allies or roadsides, and other sad situations. I really don’t like seeing plants being discarded like inanimate objects. I’m really into organic gardening and the whole secret life of plants sort of thing. Other than gardening, one of my favorite past times is bird watching. I really love watching little birds flying around the bird feeders and bird house in my yard. I like how lively they make everything seem.
