I really enjoy working with plants. I have always been interested, though I have not had as much time as I would like. I love the process of growing something from a seed, seeing it grow, mature and then harvesting the fruit/vegetable. I also collect random seeds when I am out and about and try to grow them at home. Again, it is just a good feeling to grow something from scratch.

I’ve been working to adhere to organic gardening principles. I have my own compost piles (decomposing things is almost as fun as growing them…). And I have started looking into Square Foot Gardening techniques to get the most out of my space.
