    Something eating pepper plants now too Purple peppers and Super Plot of Doom garden
    Not sure what’s eating the peppers, but they now have big chunks taken out of the leaves. Hmm.

    Potato beetles have come Potatoes and Super Plot of Doom garden
    Potato beetles have descended on the little potato plants. They lay bright orange eggs on the underside of the leaves and the leaves of the weeds next door to the potatoes. They also like our tomatoes. Every time I go out I put on my gloves and commit beetle genocide, squishing every adult, larva...

    Peas also sad Peas! and Super Plot of Doom garden
    Several peas got scorched/singed after planting. Poor germination. Lady two plots over says they need to be soaked overnight to get good germination. Kerry re-planted a few.

    Nearly epic fail Carrots and Super Plot of Doom garden
    Sowed these and the spinach right before the two weeks of rain and cold. The seeds are just now beginning to germinate in places.

    Bean beetles Bush beans and Super Plot of Doom garden
    Bean beetles have invaded and started eating holes in the bush bean leaves. Purple pole beans seem to be immune.

    Broccoli is looking very eh. May rip it out and plant Okra instead. Yay slimy okra!

    Sprouts Potatoes Sprouting and Super Plot of Doom garden
    Potatoes are sprouting- the purple ones first.

    Tomatoes looking weak Tomatoes Transplanted and Super Plot of Doom garden
    Transplanted the tomatoes and immediately had miserable 2 weeks of rain and cold. Some of the tomatoes bit the dust and were replaced by random remaining transplants.

    Broccoli attacked by beetles Broccoli Transplanted and Super Plot of Doom garden
    Transplanted Broccoli a couple of weeks ago. Caterpillar ate up some of them, then flea beetles took over. They look horrid. Perhaps next time we’ll try row cover.
