I’m Shelly, and I’ve been gardening since I was a little kid. Now I’m supposedly “grown-up,” with three littles kids of my own and I’m teaching them to garden too. We have two sheep who help us in this endeavor, eating unwanted, invasive plants, garden refuse and providing nice manure for composting.

    Zone 8 I have three raised beds for growing vegetables. Each year, I add 2-3 wheelbarrows of finish compost to them and try to remember to rotate my crops.
