alternative to seed mix for tomato seeds
Hi, I want to sow some tomato seeds but have no seed mix and no access to it at present. Is it possible to sow direct into garden?
I also have the same problem with basil seeds.

ground-cover for passionfruit vine
Can anyone help? I have several passionfruit vines planted along a strip of soil. There is concrete on both sides and up to now I have been putting lawn clippings down but my boisterous dog and the local blackbirds get into the cuttings. Any suggestions for another ground cover?
