I’m interested self-sufficiency, although we are slowly approaching that point. I use mostly no-dig gardening techniques and organic cultivation methods. The kids are heavily involved in the garden. My son enjoys planting and cultivating and watching the results. My daughter loves our chooks (sometimes too much!) and is chief caterpillar hunter (why our broccoli is doing better this year!). They both love to harvest and as we have had our first really good harvest this year they are currently keen to expand.
