East 2 garden3 hemerocallis originally, ‘Hot Chocolate’(the first), ‘Ruby Stella’ and ‘Pardon Me’ in the catalogue pictures they looked different enough to be distinguishable, in the flesh I could not see any difference between the three. Variagated leaves, pale mauve flowers. This started off in the East bed but did not thrive so it was moved to Drive north end which gets more sun. It got buried deeper than it likes but bloomed first in 2007. Seems to be happy where it is now.

Also bought ‘Mrs Bradshaw’ at some stage, which started in the Shade garden until it got too shady. Not doing brilliantly, probably too sunny and dry until now.

Purchased at their Fall sale from Dogwood, overwintered in a temporary place and then planted out in East 2 Spring 2004.
