    playground for grapes 1 grapes garden
    the grape arbor is coming together nicely. at the moment, I’m taking a break to avoid additional sunburn. nine vertical timbers are up, and three horizontal timbers. only 27 timbers left… no pictures yet, but my sister has been taking some so I’ll get them up here eventually.

    these have been, um, leisurely germinaters. I probably planted twelve or so and three are up. there’s really only room for one or two plants in the pot, so there will be some thinning or transplanting before long.

    done 1 aquadulce favas Dying and stumble garden
    came home to find the fava bean plant on the ground, broken off at dirt level. it was absolutely covered in aphids and some other crawlies that I couldn’t identify. it also had quite a few immature beans on it, but it’s really no big loss.
