    racing 5 ruby moon lablab and densituberous groundnut
    lablab and ground nut are in a race. lablab had been in the lead, but the ground nut is slowly gaining on it.it’s hard to tell in the picture, but the lablab is purplish and the groundnut is green.

    I’ve tried maybe five times to grow these from seed. this time, it worked. and fast. could be the overnight soaking. could be my new watering method. could just be hitting the odds.

    food? garden nasturtium Flowering and stumble garden
    nasturtium is flowering. the little flower buds look tasty, and I’m told they make a good caper substitute. there are only a few though, so I suppose I ought to just let them bloom. maybe then I’ll eat them.
