Hello!! My name is Phyllis and I just found this site. I am super excited about my potted garden this year because it is the first time ever I have planted an entire potted garden complete with vegetables, fruits, herbs, fruit trees and flowers! I have always enjoyed gardening, but never had the time to do much of it.
I grew up in Indiana and now live in Louisiana, which is very exciting to me because I know I will be able to grow many different plants that wouldn’t fare well up north.
I am a beginner, but I am very motivated to grow my own vegetables to eat. I love my flowers, but that is more of just a bonus, my main focus is learning all I can about gardening in pots and how to care for my plants.
Any advice on gardening in zone 9a is more than welcome!
