I work at a landscaping company. This allows me access to oodles, and I do mean oodles, of “undesired” plants. This includes hyacinths, mystery bulbs, perennials that found their way into walkways, paths, siding, teeny-tiny baby plants such as spireas (gold mound/gold flame), cedars, pines and suckers such as roses and lilacs.
I’ve also planted a few pots of seeds: catnip (I make catnip toys for shelters), lemon balm and a variety of perennials that attract humming birds.
My garden consists of approximately 75 square feet of patio which gets rays of afternoon sun.
