I like food and I care about where it comes from and how it’s grown. It only makes sense that I would try to grow as much of my own food as possible. I love to cook and preserve food. I run a website about eating locally grown foods called Farm to Philly.

When I’m not in the garden or kitchen, I can be found knitting or spinning. I’m also a member of a local dragonboat team and I enjoy sky diving occasionally. I volunteer at the Fair Food Farmstand at Reading Terminal Market and as a clinic escort at the local Planned Parenthood.

I’m a professional fundraiser for a reproductive choice nonprofit, and I live just outside Philadelphia with my husband, three cats, and a dog.
