I have a largish garden with two greenhouses, both filled with pelargoniums – miniatures, dwarfs, angels, species. I have just replanted a new border in the garden with mainly shrubs and perennials, but also a small part with assorted grasses, the collecting of which is now becomming addictive. I hope not as much as the pelargoniums, because then I would have to move house! I also have a small allotment – probably half the usual plot size, and I share this with my younger son. We had a full size one in the town before, but when my son moved we were lucky enough to get one nearer to his new home. We have only had this plot since the end of April. Since we both now have gardens to grow the salads, and things that need picking constantly, we only grow mainly on the allotment potatoes, root vegetables and cabbage.
