Sometimes I feel like I’ve bit off more than I can chew with my 40×80 veggie garden.
Still, my favorite thing in the world is getting on my hands and knees, digging in the sweet earth, weeding the little plants, admiring them, helping them along.

Whether I’m working with vegetables, flowers or herbs, it is the most satisfying thing I know.

My hair is long, my eyes are blue, my dress is unbleached muslin.
