About Me:
I’ve worked as a designer with three of the world’s leading architects, Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, Richard Meier and Philip Johnson, which has led to a number of publications, project awards and recognition in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World and other honors. I was Project Designer for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum; Project Architect for the Cathedral of Hope; and Lead Designer for the Resort at Ocean Edge; as well as more than a dozen other major projects. Today, I practice with a close group of colleagues at Proforma and my daily involvement in the development of architectural ideas continues on projects for Estee Lauder Companies, a new Manhattan residential tower, and civic work. The firm has been a finalist for several recent major NYC commissions including the East River Waterfront stretching from Battery Park to Grand Street. Architecture is one of several interconnected areas of interest that includes painting, printmaking, the design of books and objects, and digital media. Unifying these interests is an abiding interest in space and form, as well as a grounding in the tenets of both classicism and modernism.

Hobbies
Dee Dee Nefertiti & the Tribe: One day a small cat showed up on the porch of our cottage by the sea... Nameless and apparently homeless, she came regularly to sun herself. Worried by how thin she was, we started putting out a little food and water for her. As the days grew colder, our worries grew until one day--the day before Thanksgiving--we made a small house for her outside and the next day, Thanksgiving Day, invited her into our home. In a short time Dee Dee gave birth to kittens. Her loving, motherly spirit and the vitality and pure innocence of her kittens have touched our hearts and we have been inspired by the spirit of family, life and the very special connection that exists between people and pets.
