Pepper plants took their first trip outside today
Pepper Chile Early Jalapeno Hardening Off, Pepper Sweet Cal Wonder Orange Hardening Off, and Pepper Sweet C...It was really warm today; into the 70’s. I thought it was a good day to set out the pepper plants to get accustomed to the great outdoors. The larger plants didn’t tolerate the new environment as well as the little guys. Day 2 - Hardening off Brussels Sprouts
Brussels Sprouts Long Island Improved Hardening OffI set the plants out for an hour and a half today starting at about 4:45pm. It was a little late in the day, or I could’ve left them out longer.Overcast 11°C / 51°F -

I set the plants out for a little over an hour and a half today, and they did fine. I would have been able to leave them out much longer if I would have started earlier in the day.Overcast 11°C / 51°F -

I just set the plants out for 30 minutes since it was their first time out. Their leaves started drooping at the end of the time. It didn’t take too long to bounce back to healthy again once I brought them indoors. -
