Between being a Mum of three [ie cash-strapped!], wanting to eat as organically and healthily as possible, wanting to do the best thing for the planet and hence my kids, and just being plain old-fashioned, I’ve started growing edible/useful plants.
The catch is that I live in the tropics. Which turns temperate rules on their head. Not to mention that the choice of vegetables and fruit is completely different!
But I’m determined that my kids will learn that fruit and vegetables are best not coming from a supermarket and be able to grow their own.
